Learning to write, shoot, edit and publish video

So I’m about to get started with my first foray into video. I’ll be on a team of six working on a public service announcement video about recycling. Suddenly I realize that I don’t know some key parts to shooting video:

  • Writing a script: I have no idea how to get started with this other than brainstorming.
  • Shooting video: No clues on how to get steady video short of getting a steadycam, no camera to shoot with
  • Editing: I’ll just start messing around with iMovie I guess.

As this project takes shape I’ll be posting updates. Hopefully I have more stuff to worry about.
